We have in our stores quite a number of 'core units' - old untested gearboxes from a variety of different vehicles that we have accumulated over the years, and we are now looking to advertise on a pre-order basis.We will require a 50% deposit to secure your order, and there will be an agreed completion date at the point of taking the order.
For UK customers, the cost will include delivery to mainland UK and the 50% deposit will be inclusive of vat. Once the gearbox has been completed, we will invoice for the remaining 50%, and once payment has been made we will arrange delivery.
For overseas customers, we ask that you get in touch and we will obtain a shipping cost to your chosed destination. The deposit of 50% of the cost of the gearbox will again secure your order, and the shipping will be added to the 50% payable upon completion.
We will be advertising these gearboxes a small number at a time. Our first list is below:
Jaguar E-Type V12 with overdrive. £3250 plus vat
This is the original V12 E-type 4 speed gearbox converted to accept a ''compact A type'' overdrive unit. The gearbox will be fully reconditioned in house and will have the usual attention to the cosmetic finish. The overdrive will be reconditioned and uprated accordingly by Overdrive Repair Services near Sheffield.
Jaguar XK120 overdrive gearbox. £2500 plus vat
This will be a complete original gearbox and overdrive unit. Once again the gearbox will be reconditioned in house and the overdrive will be reconditioned by Overdrive Repair Services.
Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 2 £1650 plus vat
This will be a standard 5 speed RS Turbo gearbox, fully reconditioned in house. It will be fitted with the standard Ford LSD. The main cases will be aqua blasted and all fasteners will be electro plated in a bright silver colour,
Renault 5 GT Turbo 5 speed JB3 gearbox £1150 plus vat
This again will be an all original standard gearbox reconditioned in house. There will be an upgrade to the standard diff to eliminate the ''circlip popping out issue''. Cosmetically the main cases will be aquablasted with silver fasteners.
